I'm the founder of The Dreaming Kind.

I've always dreamed of building my own brand. For years, it was just that - a dream. It wasn't until I became a mom that I finally found the courage to take the leap (crazy how becoming a parent can change everything, isn't it?).

When my son was born, I spent countless hours searching for clothing that felt like us - pieces that were buttery soft, beautifully made, timeless, and made to last. I wanted quality I could feel, styles I'd still love years from now, and clothing that made everyday moments feel just a little more special. But I kept coming up short.

So I decided to create it myself.

The Dreaming Kind was born from the belief that the little things matter. The pajamas worn for bedtime stories, the outfit chosen for first holidays, the cozy moments spent together at home - these are the memories that stay with us. I wanted to create thoughtfully designed pieces that families reach for again and again because they feel just as good as they look.

While we're beginning with children's apparel, The Dreaming Kind has always been envisioned as something more. My hope is to create a brand that grows alongside families - from babies and toddlers to moms, dads, and beyond. Whether it's clothing, accessories, or future collections, every product will be created with the same commitment to quality, comfort, and timeless design.

As a small, mama-owned business, every decision is made with intention. We work closely with trusted manufacturing partners, carefully select premium fabrics, and obsess over the little details so you can feel confident in every purchase. My goal has never been to create more "stuff." It's to create pieces you'll genuinely love, trust, and make part of your family's story.

When I'm not dreaming up new collections, you'll usually find me spending time with my family and our dogs, or singing around the house (whether anyone asked for a concert or not!).
